Lately I’ve been thinking about finding a good, old-fashioned watch. I’d love an ancient, worn-in watch with a nice leather strap on it so that I wouldn’t always have an excuse to have my cell phone on me. Sometimes it’s nice to NOT be connected! I was looking around the internet, and I found several sites with beautiful, albeit thousand-dollar watches, so I decided to check eBay. I especially like this one:
But it’s getting up there in price! Next time I go thrifting I’m going to try and keep my eyes open for interesting watches.

My camera battery is dead because I forgot to charge it AGAIN, so sadly, crap webcam photos will have to do. My boyfriend got me this necklace, and I really love it. There’s a pretty big story behind it, but you guys probably don’t want to hear it because I tend to get pretty long-winded when talking about my man…so here are some pictures!
Tiffany & Co!!?!?!?!?!?!? For MOI? (Seriously. Such a cute box!)
OH MY GOD! IT’S SO FREAKING PRETTY!
That’s right, bitches. I make faces like a duck and wear fancy jewelry!
So as you can probably tell, I’m pretty happy. Tiffany might be extremely overpriced but since this is probably the only “expensive” jewelry I will ever own and Tiffany & Co is so iconic, it makes it all the more special.
Oh, and I would post my outfit for today, but I’m ashamed to admit to you that I wore my school sweats out in public today. I HAD TO! Me and my 8-year-old cousin went for a snowboarding lesson since he is visiting from Oklahoma for spring break with his parents. Sadly, since this is the only spring break in Calgary that I can recall without snow, we had to go to a hill that produces their own! We had fun falling on our butts, even if we weren’t very stylish…

Because I just couldn’t bring myself to take another even-worse lit then this picture in my big mirror! All I wore on the bottom were my paint-covered skinny jeans because I helped paint a set for drama after school and those chocolate brown shoes I stole from my mom. By the way, set painting is harder then it looks! Next time you’re attending a play (or being dragged to one by family members/significant others) you’d better appreciate the effort that the art kids put into the set! :D
That’s my mom’s high school jersey, by the way. It says Ponca City Senior 74…my mom’s old! And here’s a closeup of all the necklaces:
I’ll do my best to figure out where I got these..hmm..
Okay, owl necklace which is actually a magnifying glass, ModCloth. Silver dagger necklace, my wonderful boyfriend. (Oh, it’s for stabbing rapists, of course. It’s actually pretty pointy!) Gold and silver rectangle necklace, thrifted. Brown beaded necklace and world-on-a-string necklace, my friend’s grandmother. Peace sign necklace, my mom’s. I can’t stop stealing her wardrobe lately! And last but not least, bird necklace from Target. PHEW! This is getting pretty heavy around my neck, I’ve gotta admit…but I got lots of compliments so it’s all good!
