I slept in today (oops!) and missed the whole morning, so I didn’t get to wear this for very long, and the belt STILL managed to somehow disintegrate! It was one of those ones made out of some sort of cardboard composite and it got so bad that I just gave up and tossed it. I guess I’m on the hunt for a new belt again!

I Hate The Greenhouse Effect T-shirt: My mom’s
Purple shirt: Thrifted
Jeans: Dish
Shoes: Thrifted

And remember how I lost my wallet? Well, I was walking to the bus stop with my boyfriend, and we found all of my old bus passes with my name and phone number written on the back scattered all over the ground. :( So I don’t think I’m going to see it again! But luckily, I didn’t have anything in it that was worth anything or not easily replaced, so I’m thankful for that. I guess I need to find a new belt AND a new wallet now!

I actually got up early enough to take this picture before I left!

Are you amazed yet?! The five extra minutes it takes to snap an outfit photo might not seem like a lot to all you organized, early risers out there, but it’s pretty impressive for me.

Necklace: Gift
Vest: AA
Shirt: Winners? Maybe?
Cardigan: Hand-me-down
Jeans: Dish
Boots: Doc Marten

Tomorrow is my school’s art gala! The dancers are performing first, then we do a nice little art show (in the cafeteria, of course…) and then the drama students are performing a song from High School Musical. One of my best friends is in drama and she is constantly threatening suicide because of how unprepared they are to perform as everyone hates practicing HSM, so it should be quite an amusing show!

Maybe I should just be trying to find cute outfits that involve jeans and sweaters! I gave up on my skirt this morning and threw this on. Also, I look like a balding, out of focus man in this photo. :D

Scarf: Target
Sweater: Vintage
Jeans: Dish
Shoes: Thrifted

I totally love these shoes. So comfy! I even wore them for the 12 minute run in gym and did pretty dang well, if I do say so myself. (27 laps around the gym=80% grade! YUSSS!)

I was going to wear my dress again today, but I felt like jeans when I woke up so I threw together this slightly boring outfit. And sorry for the crappy picture quality!

a movie to avoid

Sorry that I’m posting my outfit so late! Me and my boyfriend went to see the sneak preview of Prom Night, and all I can say is thank god it was free! By the end the whole theatre was giggling. If you’re looking to be scared, maaaybe not the movie, but if you want to go and laugh at the fact that something like this is actually showing in theatres, go for it. :P It’s amusing for sure!

Anyways, as my last post sadly documented, it was terrible outside so my outfit is pretty boring! I was going to wear spectator heels (HA), but my Doc’s were amazing in the snow and I’m really glad I got ’em or else I would have had nothing to wear. I had to wait 20 minutes for a bus that usually comes every 5 this morning, and by the time I got on I was so covered in snow that there were piles of it on the floor that I had brushed off. I finally got to school 45 minutes late, and there were barely enough students in all of the math classes at once to fill up 2 classrooms (and 2000 kids go to my school!). It’s amazing how people forget how to drive/get places in winter after they get used to nice weather!

Hat: My dad’s (warmest hat ever

Jacket: Hand-me-down vintage men’s peacoat
Cardigan: Vintage
Jeans: Shank
Shoes: Doc Marten

I don’t wash these jeans a lot, because I usually forget or I pull them out of the dirty clothes to wear them again, but the last time they came out of the wash I noticed that they were fading into their very own wash. When I bought them they were a lot darker then they are, but I like the way that they are fading. It’s authentic and so much more personalized then buying jeans with a fake fade or whiskering.

Ooh, and here’s another photo my boyfriend took from the bus stop while we were waiting to go to the movie.

Better then it was earlier! But c’monnn…it’s April!!!

…But sadly, there was snow on the ground! Ah well, sneakers are way comfier anyways.

Ummm, this picture makes my feet look really big by the way. Hahaha.

Scarf: Old fabric
T-shirt: Target
Jeans: H&M
Belt: Thrifted
Shoes: Thrifted

This was a nice outfit for going exploring downtown with my boyfriend. I’m glad I wore sneakers because we covered a lot of ground!

Went to H&M with my mom today to get some cheap but slave-made clothes. I came back with a pair of jeans that is JUST long enough (a miracle! and if they shrink, they will look good cuffed too) and a top.

Mmmm, highwaisty! They’re not quite up to my waist but certainly higher then I am used to. Perfect for tucking tank tops into. And I got them for $20 on sale!

The top! I love the details on this, but I was thinking of cutting off the bottom and using it for something else. That would make the shirt into just a plain old tank, but then I would probably have to take in the sides so it fit me better…and I dunno if I could do that without destroying it! Well, I guess I will wear it a few times and decide if I want to take the plunge.

H&M didn’t have nearly as much cool stuff as the first time I went! Then again, the last time I went was at the grand opening, which was sometime last summer I think. But maybe since I’m trying to buy stuff that I will actually wear, I’m just being more realistic with the stuff that I buy, and not buying things that have qualities I don’t like (but I ignore until after I’ve bought it). Hmm…that could be a very good thing for my closet space and my wallet!
